Earlier this week i lost my brother.. i lost him for about hour and half.

i was very scared and i panicked slightly. ok a little more than slightly ..

he was suppose to ketch (sp?) the 5:20 .. home by 5:50/6:00... He was going solo... (eek-what was i thinking!) The scene.....Me pacing...'soon the bus will stop and Stan will walk in'... me more pacing.. i phone the bus number.. just to make sure..... ok bus people all gone home....pacing..... bus passes at 6:00. NO ONE WAS ON THAT BUS!!!..let alone did it stop.....AHHH i dash inside the house ..grab my truck keys, Jer jumps in. i yell for Sheldon to stir the soup!!!

btw if you could see me. i was wearing neon green crocs *home use only* and well bright pink fake eyelashes...*lol home use only* nuts.. at least i wasn't wearing one of the fake mustache that the boyz all had on!!..(another story) So what to do!! what else!!

Follow that bus!!!

ok so i over took the bus in no time...and the bus is clearly empty.. and still needs to go another route before it would head to town.... ahhhh ok we go to town first.. ....

Searching main street... "Stan where are you!?!"..... searching .. and lots of frantic praying!... He must have missed the bus? Did he get dropped off at the wrong stop? Well if he did miss the bus he would be at one of the bus stops...eek ...passed the second one and NO Stan!! Ok dashing back out of town.. redriving the route that the bus would have gone on... NO STAN.. ok starting to loose it. Phone husband he is going to look one way while i head back to town to find the bus driver!
Jer phones workers who then phone other workers to find out who and where Stan was with last. Also Jer calls parents who were on their way home but turn around to comfort ME. Also to help find Stan.

ok i find the driver .. after many long minutes.. we determined that Stan was not on the 5:20 .. ahhhh where is my brother?????.. tears or weird laughter was beginning to swell at an unstoppable place.

Bus driver takes his CB, and asks all drivers about the situation.. more long minutes.. Anyone with a Stan?.............................. Yes, the Thornhill Driver, the 6:20 (which was the bus at one moment behind this one) had a Stan. Everyone was quite sure it was our guy. ok thanks to all drivers especially this one who had patience and spent the time we needed with us even tho he also had a schedule to keep... blessings on you. *i won't ever grumble again for waiting for a late bus* ..sniff sniff...

Jump back into truck...........oh the melt down was to close...... deep weird wailing won for about 1 minute. .........ok HOME TIME. He may not be our Stan?? <<>> i can not go there. I just need to go and wait.

So my parents who swiftly came back into town because of me... Mom kept saying everything will be ok.....Thank you Mom for always being a calm in my storm.... Jer phones home Mal and Ben are waiting at the bus stop... Sheldon is making his way home.. workers have the message..... and so here we are ... Dad Mom Jer Mal Ben thunder....and me all waiting at the bus stop.. (mom even took out her camera) and finally which felt like the longest wait ever... The Bus Comes Down our Street!! we gasp!!! it stops!! and yes Stan is on it!!! He did have the oddest expression on his face ... a toss between my crazy family ...and did i miss something? haha he so didn't know why we were that happy to see him!!? ......sigh....


We never really did get what all happened.?? He was at one stop... but he ended up at another..So we assume he walked over?...missing his first bus and then waited for the next one. How he managed is a bit of a mystery?? There was a hushed discussion with my husband later that night on whether i should let Stan pursue the use of the bus... at what cost is independence worth?? Maybe we aren't ready for solo? Well the main reason we couldn't talk with Stan is his cell phone wasn't working, because we would have phoned him and then known where he was in seconds...sigh (he did have it- and is fixed now)..and there is truth to what my husband said, "He did what anyone would do.. he missed the first bus .. so he went on the next one." He did well and he was fine." sigh.... yeah....so in the near future you may see a glimpse of us..the one in the bus will look quite content. The one following in a tire squealing truck on the other hand...??
